How to Find Your Leaked Content Online
Search techniques creators can use to find leaked content: username and alias searches, reverse image search, search operators and where leaks commonly appear.
You can't take down what you can't find. These are the techniques that turn up most leaks, and how to organize what you find so takedowns go quickly.
1. Search every name you use
Leakers usually title posts with your creator or model name. Search each name you use, old usernames and common misspellings, alone and together with words like "leak", "leaked", "free" or the platform name. Check both web and image results.
2. Use search operators
"yourname": quotes match the exact phrase."yourname" -site:yourplatform.com: excludes your own official pages (e.g. your OnlyFans, Patreon or portfolio site).site:example-forum.com "yourname": searches within one site.- Use the tools menu to limit results to the past week or month and spot new uploads.
3. Reverse image search
Upload a distinctive photo (one that isn't explicit, where possible) to a reverse image search engine such as Google Lens, Bing Visual Search or TinEye to find pages using the same or similar images.
4. Know where leaks gather
Stolen content commonly appears on dedicated leak forums, repost and aggregator sites, tube-style video sites, image boards, file lockers, social platforms like Reddit and X, and messaging channels. Each has a different copyright reporting process.
5. Record exact URLs
A takedown needs the specific location of each copy: the post or file URL, not the site's home page. Note the date found. If a page embeds a file from another host, record both.
6. Protect yourself while searching
Leak sites can be full of aggressive ads and malware. Use an up-to-date browser with an ad blocker, don't download files, and never pay "removal fees" to a leak site.
7. Automate the routine
Manual searching every week is exhausting. ClearTrace's scanning bot searches for your names and aliases and adds matches to your dashboard, and you can paste anything you find yourself in bulk. Create an account to start.
