Your Content Leaked (OnlyFans, Fansly, Patreon & More): What to Do Next
A calm, practical checklist for creators and models whose paid or private content has leaked: document, prioritize, file takedowns, deal with Google results and reduce future leaks.

Finding your paid or private content on a leak site is stressful, and it is common, whether it came from OnlyFans, Fansly, ManyVids, Patreon or a private shoot. The good news is that copyright law is on your side: you own what you create, and you have a legal process to get copies removed. Here's a practical order of operations.
1. Don't engage with the leaker
Avoid public call-outs or messages to uploaders. They rarely help and can lead to more reposting. Focus on removal.
2. Document what you find
For each copy, save the exact page URL and, where the file is hosted somewhere else, the direct file URL too. Note the date. A spreadsheet works, or paste the links straight into a ClearTrace dashboard, which records everything for you.
3. Prioritize the biggest sources
Start with pages that rank in search for your name, large leak forums and file hosts that feed many mirrors. Removing a popular source file can break many links at once.
4. Send DMCA notices
Send a notice that meets the six requirements of 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) to each host's designated agent. Our step-by-step guide covers how to file a DMCA takedown. Or let ClearTrace prepare and file notices for every link.
5. Clean up search results
When a source page is removed, Google drops it as it re-crawls. For results that stay, you can ask Google to delist them yourself. See how Google delisting works.
6. Check your platform's tools
Review your creator platform's privacy and security settings and its help center for any content-protection options it offers.
7. Reduce future leaks
- Watermark your content with your username so copies are easy to identify and prove.
- Keep a private archive of your originals with their creation dates.
- Monitor regularly. Leaks tend to resurface, and early takedowns stop mirrors from multiplying.
Look after yourself
Leaks can feel personal because they are. Delegating the search-and-takedown routine is a legitimate way to protect your time and your peace of mind.
